Sr Demand Planner

A\nposition has opened up in Honeywell _____ (SBG/GBE) for an ambitious Demand\nPlanning Professional. You will report to the SIOP Leader / Demand Planning\nManager with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning skills\nand play an instrumental role in the success of the company.
As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating,\nand aligning volume & revenue forecasts for assigned businesses and or\nchannels. You will ensure that regional sales forecasts are visible, planned\nand supported through the supply chain while delivering customer satisfaction\nand improving inventory and working capital year over year. This\nposition will interface with sales and marketing organizations, utilizing\nstatistics, sales projects, and market intelligence to develop a rolling 18\nmonth SKU level demand plan. This position is the linkage between sales\nforecasting, marketing programs and manufacturing, bringing closer alignment to\nthe Sales Inventory & Operations Planning Process.

Job Responsibilities:
Create\n baseline demand plan converting sales plans to unit production\n requirements and benchmarking against demand plan.
Facilitate\n regional demand planning meetings with direct interaction and input from\n sales and marketing.
Provide\n pro-active professional gap analysis of demand, financial, supply plans.
Document\n major assumptions in the demand plan, including the coordination of new\n products, projects, promotions, events and/or customer planning\n activities.
Validate\n and align of baseline forecasts to meet the Regions sales goals with\n regional sales leaders.
Adjust\n baseline forecasts to include demand forecast exceptions provided by sales\n team
Provide\n root cause analysis and corrective actions to continually improve demand\n plan quality.
Provide\n relentless, professional 3-step feedback loop on monthly basis (demand\n plan vs. incoming order rates vs. plant shipments.)
Lead\n corrective action on behalf of regional Sales Inventory & Operations\n Planning team for demand plan accuracy, sales forecast accuracy.
Partner\n with SIOP process team and supply planners to facilitate maximum customer\n satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction and financial performance.
Basic Qualifications:
High\n School degree or equivalent.
3-5\n years of experience in operations planning/scheduling, materials\n management or Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional\n area.   

Desirable Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s\n Degree in Business Administration, accounting, operations management, marketing\n or supply chain management.
Experience\n with SAP ERP systems
Experience\n with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module, Forecast\n Pro).
APICS,\n CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred
Proficient\n in Microsoft applications.
Excellent\n interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills.\n
Strong\n organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize,\n and delegate.
Ability\n to collaborate with both internal and external customers.
