Experienced SharePoint Designer with a strong emphasis on customization. Proficiency in designing SharePoint solutions, site taxonomy, and UX. Ability to build and implement custom UI designs for SharePoint is a must while adhering to usability principles and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills. Responsible for branding and standardizing migration of SharePoint v2010 to v2013 Intranet sites, on-premise and in Office365. Evaluation and thorough understanding of existing content for migration is a must. Ability to make professional, skilled recommendations of navigation elements, custom content types, site pages, web parts, and workflows for an enterprise solution. Key deliverable will consist of customized Responsive Design templates for multi-agency integration. Standards will be created and followed in alignment with existing State of Michigan Look and Feel standards. Designs will be driven by usability best practices and ADA compliance.
