Coooling Systems Engineer (COSE) is responsible for\:
· Developing design proposals, specifications, drawings, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost implications, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
COSE will identify the project requirements, provide design solutions to meet requirements, and ensure the optimum design with IEC / UL standards..
Candidate will have a diversified portfolio of technical functions consistent with the requirements of the IOU including good knowledge on Product Selection for Uniflair and 3rd party suppliers brands for Prefab solutions. CFDs performance capability and airflow background in very tigh spaces are required.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Facilitate meetings and interviews with customer and sub-consultants.
RESPONSIBILITIES\:
o Understand the codes and ordinances local to the opportunity/project.
o Revise and create cooling system designs during guide Solutions Develop appropriate design documents to support the proposal and allow team to assemble These design documents should identify at a minimum the following as applicable\:
o Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
o Prepare and update templates for easy quotation of control /monitoring systems.
o Support by revising and designing R&D (Offer Creation) projects to develop cooling systems within Schneider Electric portfolio as well as 3rd party vendors portfolio. Participate in new base design projects to bring field and production lessons learned to design out the issues as feasible in the project.
o Prepare all cooling systems engineering documentation for projects engineers and subcontractors within the scheduled delivery time.
o Design cooling topologies, cooling schemes, cooling load, cooling configuration and airflow validation & CFDs as required.
o Engineering support function, supporting requests from other engineering teams, factory, commisiong, sub-contractors, services, site support.
o Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
o Attend new products trainings and events to improve knowledge and capabilities.
o Prepare and schedule trainings as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) to other engineers

o InfraStruxure software selection & application. (SE internal software).
