Detailed description: Mission of the Role: Senior UX designers are responsible for the creation of HMI requirements and use cases, translation into sitemaps, the construction of wireframes and prototypes, and conducting consumer research to validate interaction concepts, this position will focus on the design of overall functionality for automotive cockpit electronics products, and execution of those designs to ensure a great user experience. The range of products is Instruments Clusters including ADAS, Head-Up Displays, and Infotainment systems as well as advanced development applying latest technologies.

Key Objectives of this Role:
• Responsible for user interaction related design projects or aspects of projects.
• Effort estimation and planning deliverables.
• Wireframes & Screen flow documentation and Deliveries to Internal and External stakeholders.
• Assure the best user experience within design programs applying an iterative, user-centric approach.
• Creation of innovative interaction concepts to match future usages and expectations.
• Specification of complex interaction systems in alignment with HMI SW developers.
• Prominent level of independent communication with a multi-national and cross-functional design team.
• High affinity for recent technologies and willingness to apply these in the automotive context.
• Close collaboration with specialists and technical experts from product management and software engineering teams.
• Collaborate with customers to understand client’s product visions by researching, storyboarding, wireframing, prototyping user experiences for automotive products incorporating human factors aspects and contemporary look and feel.
• Work within defined toolchains with focus on continuous improvement of workflow.
• Detect and propose alternative ways of working to match future challenges.
• Grow and maintain effective partnerships with customer User-experience Design group.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:
• 5-6 years of minimum relevant working experience as UX designer in web, consumer electronics or automotive environment.
• Experience in the Automotive domain will be preferred.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies of usability.
• Knowledge of application of various aspects of ergonomics related to role.
• Awareness about different ISO standards applicable for Vehicle Cockpit Interior design.
• Proficiency in Interface Design tools like Visio, Figma & Adobe XD is necessary.
• Proficiency in any of the Interactive Prototyping using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, ProtoPie or similar is necessary.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office & 2D design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator is necessary.
• knowledge of Motion Graphics tool - Adobe After Effects is advantageous.
• Working Knowledge of JIRA - Agile project management is necessary.
• High affinity to automotive user Interfaces, processes, and coordination with a focus on constant improvement of workflow
• Stellar communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Familiarity with 4-wheeler driving & acquaintance with vehicle interior & controls will be highly advantageous.
