This position is responsible for producing code, configurations, unit tests and design concepts to implement and support order management system at Tractor Supply Company (TSC). Additional responsibilities include mentoring lower-level team members and knowledge sharing with the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Develop/configure, build, review and unit test software/solutions. Partner with the business analysts to review and refine business requirements into core system capabilities. Assist developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and validating solutions that meet business requirements. Prototype new requirements for the purpose of enhancing technical functionalities and information process flow. Assist in quality assurance (QA) efforts on tasks worked by providing input for test cases and supporting test case execution. Participate in on-call rotations. Meet with technical leads, architects and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the implementation guidelines. Work directly with the business users to provide support including design and development of customer training materials, as well as conduct customer training sessions. Mentor team members on new technologies in area of expertise. Work with Enterprise teams to ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established proceduresRequired Qualifications
Experience: 3-7 years of experience with Sterling Commerce/ IBM Selling and Fulfillment Suite implementations is preferred, along with 5-9 years of experience developing web applications using enterprise Java technologies. Retain experience is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Professional Certifications:
IBM Sterling Order Management Deployment 9.1 certification is preferred.
Programmer certification in Java is preferred.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Strong technical knowledge of IBM Order Management’s modules such as Platform, Document Object Model (DOM), Supply Collaboration, GIV, Catalog Management, and Reverse Logistics. Strong knowledge of Sterling Commerce architecture. Strong working knowledge in building/deployments and integration of Sterling Order Management System (OMS) with enterprise applications is preferred. Strong knowledge of relational database (Oracle in particular) is preferred. Strong knowledge of specific tools/technologies including XML, Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), JavaServer Pages (JSP), Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Dojo, and HTML is preferred. Strong working experience with Subversion (SVN) or GIT for source code management is preferred. Strong knowledge of memory management and performance tuning related to Sterling OMS is preferred. Strong knowledge of building Sterling Commerce applications using Eclipse and its plug-ins is preferred. Ability to work independently and manage workload prioritization in order to deliver high quality work products on time and with minimal directions. Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
