Consumer Insight, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA) is a part of Disney Experiences, serving as a center of excellence that leads strategy development and decision-making through actionable data analytics, integration, and insights. Within CIMA, the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team focuses on leveraging best practices in analytics to capture data, analyze it, and optimize our digital and contact center channels, driving guest satisfaction and business outcomes.

In your new role as a Sr. Digital Analyst, you’ll be a key player in deploying new, leading-edge digital features for Disney Cruise Line. You’ll utilize your passion for analytics and digital technology to provide insights that inform decision-making for partners across the organization, including Marketing Strategy, Digital Technology, and Product Management. You will frequently collaborate across teams on best practices for digital analytics implementation and consolidation of performance into holistic stories. To succeed, you should be comfortable working with multiple partners, possess a proactive approach, and use your ability to create and support a story based on quantitative findings.

As the Sr. Digital Analyst, you will support the exciting growth of Disney Cruise Line, including websites and mobile applications. You will generate and implement technical requirements for analytics, develop and maintain regular reports, conduct planned and ad hoc analyses, and perform in-depth, holistic analyses to tell the performance story and deliver insights to various audiences.

What you will do:

Utilize Digital measurement to support business objectives across web and mobile applicationsCollaborate with business, technology, and other analytics partners to determine data needs and establish data collection requirements based on those needsOversee accurate implementation of data collection requirements by executing quality assurance procedures and ongoing anomaly detection effortsSupport partner teams with regular reporting, ad-hoc analyses, and deep-dive projects from start to finish using industry best practices and unique self-driven ideasUse statistical rigor and the scientific method to solidify the validity of findings and explain those concepts to non-expertsIndependently drive priorities and recommendations to fruition.Represent the Digital analytics team as the owner of channel data collection using knowledge and use cases for solving business questionsDiscover areas of opportunity for data improvement and follow through to see those improvements implementedProactively seek out additional information to round out analyses and confirm assumptionsBe a participatory member of tactical teams with ongoing initiativesLeverage professional experiences to demonstrate analytical aptitude and support project lifecycles.Prepare analytical plans, including milestones, hypotheses, and data sources necessary, to complete complex deep dive analysisMaintain reference materials for performance reporting and contextual insightDesign clean, visually appealing, effective and impactful reports and visuals for executive leadership consumptionSuccinctly present stories with a focus on actionable outcomes fit for the audienceProblem solve and participate in “Blue Sky” sessions, coming up with new ideas and concept designContribute to data strategy solutions in a collaborative and supportive environmentContinuously evolve reporting capabilities by way of innovation and efficienciesProactively analyze and solve business problems that business partners may not know they haveMake judgement calls in tight-turnaround situations with confidence and weigh pros vs consDemonstrate poise in all interactions with partners and internal teams with a solutions oriented attitudeRespond to partner inquiries and seek to understand needs in a business context before setting expectations and commitmentsMeet or exceed expectations with time and resources available by communicating to leadership and partners if adjustments need to be madeLead peers in collaborative analytical efforts and cross-train other members of the teamConduct business with compliance and safety requirements top of mind at all times

Required Qualifications & Skills:

5+ years of professional career experience3+ years of Digital analytics experience1+ years defining data collection requirementsDemonstrated ability to dissect data, define segmentation scenarios, and target use casesAbility to distill analysis into concise recommendations and present to various levels of audiences, including executivesPersuasion skills to effectively guide decision-making using action-oriented data insightsIndependent time management and prioritization skills with an ability to meet deadlinesIntuition for anticipating outcomes, envisioning the right course of action, and influencing successful business outcomesSuccinct and clear communication in verbal, written, and visual mediumsSuccessful performance in an evolving field where new tools and technology are the normProven relationship skills with thought partners, clients, and collaborative teamsCuriosity to push the envelope with good judgment to mitigate riskExperience with AB Testing and/or web optimizationLeadership qualitiesWorking knowledge of statistical conceptsWorking knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or other programming languagesProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote)Proficient in collaboration tools (ex. Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or quantitative field – e.g., statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics, finance, engineering or an MBA or Master’s degree in an analytical/quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
