WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
The Sr. Digital Product Owner is the subject matter expert for their assigned digital products – ensuring superior digital experiences and serving a critical role of bridging the gap between business users and agile development teams. This position works closely with the agile team to write user stories, manage the product backlog, perform release planning and escalate issues as necessary. They must have an excellent understanding of the business needs that they represent, the technology on which they’re building and ensure a great end-user experience. In addition to managing a well-groomed backlog, they will collaborate with agile teams to oversee day-to-day user support and satisfaction of their products. They will be the main point-of-contact for the agile scrum team and are expected to proactively communicate back with business partners on new enhancements, research and respond to questions and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. Candidates must have strong communication and facilitation skills, with a proven record of leading complex projects with multiple business partners. They must exhibit corporate & interpersonal savvy and confidence leading technical projects under tight budgets and timelines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years professional work experience At least 3 years of product management, website management experience, digital account management experience and/or other related experience with technology platforms Experience with agile development methodology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3-6 years of digital business analysis, data-centric product ownership (i.e. identity management, consumer data systems, etc) Familiarity with application testing, debugging and analysis of data issues Familiarity with Usability Design (best practices, consumer journey flows, wireframes, etc.). Ability to manage competing priorities and a high volume of initiatives at one time. Proactively prioritize the work and manage expectations. Curious and self-starter Client-service mentality
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The salary range for this job is between $90,000 and $120,000. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location. This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
