Under general direction, the Senior Director of Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce Administrator) position provides leadership by planning, leading and directing system integration to support a robust relationship management system (Salesforce), a digital marketing platform (Marketing Cloud and Account Engagement) to enhance Thunderbird School of Global Management’s constituent engagement strategies. This role also serves as the school’s Salesforce Administrator that will support efforts to continually improve and enhance existing Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road map. Constituent groups include, but are not limited to, prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and partners. This position will lead a variety of CRM projects and will assume primary responsibility for ensuring constituent data is housed appropriately and securely; position will oversee CRM user access and related permission sets.
In this high-energy environment, you’ll be responsible for the daily management, configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce instance. Your role will support the strategic objectives of Thunderbird, enabling efficient communication, streamlined workflows, and actionable insights to empower our faculty, staff, and students. This position requires technical proficiency, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to fostering collaboration across departments.
A successful candidate for this position has a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our organizational objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Senior Dir CRM (Salesforce Administrator) should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.

Master’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment and eight (8) years of related administrative experience, including six (6) years of supervisory experience; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
