Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone. **Senior Director, Chief of Staff – Impact Engineering & UTG PMO** In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) as the Senior Director and Chief of Staff for Impact Engineering and the UTG PMO. You will be an integral member of a dynamic leadership team. We are looking for a confident operations leader who is passionate about improving efficiency and scalability. Your focus will be on strategic communications, cultural transformation, organizational effectiveness, standardization, scalability, and productivity. You will achieve these objectives through strong leadership, data-driven problem-solving, and process improvement methodologies. Impact Engineering & UTG PMO are two distinct teams driving specific outcomes for ServiceNow, STEP, and UTG. • Impact Engineering delivers the digital experience for ServiceNow Impact, our groundbreaking customer success solution. The result is faster time to value, enhanced expertise, and a seamless digital transformation journey. • The UTG Program Management Office (PMO) delivers business-critical program management outcomes across Release Management, Big Rock (highest priority product and engineering deliverables), Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure, Engineering, and M&A. What you will do in this role: • Lead and execute the Annual Operational Planning (AOP) process. • Effective, careful, and strategic management of the budget. • Strategic organizational design. Offer guidance to the SVP for optimizing and scaling according to the dynamic business needs, while aligning with resource capacity and recruitment opportunities. • Lead the creation of annual OKRs, set baselines, manage progress, and track delivery of results. • Brainstorm, coordinate, and create presentation materials and provide feedback for Town Halls, board meetings, operations reviews, engineering reviews, OKR status updates, stakeholder readouts, and other presentations as needed. • Craft executive-level communications that synthesize various portfolio, product, program, release, operations, and people data points. • Collaborate with peers and team members to ensure that all executive-level communications and presentations are of high quality and tailored to the intended audience. • Organize and manage staff meetings, both onsite and offsite, and outline key agendas. Prepare accompanying materials, plan events, and ensure all action items are addressed and completed. Facilitate and manage essential meetings. • Facilitate consistent deliverables for key meetings by creating, distributing, and ensuring the timely completion of templates for peers and team members. • Represent the SVP in meetings when necessary and inform them of key operational activities promptly. • Foster strong relationships within the organization and across UTG, STEP, and ServiceNow to support and promote our work. • Identify unstructured problems and drive business strategies and solutions to solve them. • Strong business judgment with the ability to see the big picture, develop effective strategies, influence others, communicate clearly, drive buy-in, and prioritize tasks. • Ability to effectively manage change and uncertainty, exhibiting an action-oriented mindset while thriving in a dynamic environment. • Be an effective leader, foster strong relationships, and engage with the Chiefs of Staff community within UTG. **Successful candidates have the following experience:** • 15+ years of related experience in chief of staff, strategic program/project management, management consulting, operations management, or similar position at a fast-paced company. • Experience in transformational process initiatives. • Strong analytical background and creative problem-solving skills. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority for productive collaboration across multiple organizations. • Detail-oriented and data-driven problem solver who can make decisions under pressure. • Experience in building business cases and analyzing financial metrics in the technology industry. • Financial acumen: Experience working with budgets and forecasting. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
