Position Summary:  Provide leadership and vision for development and execution of analytics and modeling strategies within the business unit.

How you will make an impact:

Direct sub-functions and/or areas activities with overall responsibility of developing systems, planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, recommending and implementing changes to methods through several managers.

Develop a robust talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies across the global organization

Plan and direct strategic activities including prioritizing and selecting appropriate projects with overall responsibility for meeting business objectives. Lead in identifying risk, developing complex mitigation strategies, best practices, alternative solutions, resolving issues in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams

Analyze, formulate and present recommendations to advise and guide executive level leadership; develop and deliver executive level communication

Manage third-party relationships, identifying data sources that support global market insights and guide best-practice data warehousing for streamlined analysis.

Mitigate/eliminate risk, direct and communicate highly complex analytics initiatives which includes negotiations with internal and external parties

Identify new business opportunities and develop partnerships to further expand the value of analytics to the broader organization

What we look for (required):

Bachelor's Degree in in related field and related experience required and skill levels exceeding the requirements of the Manager

Experience in architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders

Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Python)

Demonstrated track record in people management

What else we look for (preferred):

Master's Degree or equivalent in related field

Experience working within healthcare

Experience interfacing and influencing stakeholders in complex organizations impacting across the company including the ability to gain resolutions and build consensus with key stakeholders in challenging situations

Proven successful project management leadership skills

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

Expert understanding of sales and marketing procedures while identifying applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems

Expert understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions

Expert understanding of industry trends as it relates to sales and marketing optimization and data analytics

Demonstrated ability to manage one or more teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations

Strict attention to detail

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment

Frequently interacts with internal and external management and senior-level stakeholders concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and/or contractual clarifications

Lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives

Require the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship

Dedicated to quality client service and pro-active and responsive to client needs

Develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.

Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to successfully implement global enterprise systems and related solutions

Develop relationships and leverage them to influence change

Support and solicit input from team members at all levels

Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Travel (day and overnight by car, air, train, etc.) will vary. Percentage of time is determined by Management

For California, the base pay range for this position is $199,000 to $282,000 (highly experienced).
