Job Summary
Cboe’s US Option business is seeking a highly motivated Senior Director to drive revenue and market share growth by formulating creative, competitive commercial polices across our markets. Success criteria would include utilizing business, industry, competitive, client and technical expertise to formulate and implement responsible pricing policies.This role is also key to provide content rich analyses for ad hoc client requests as well as to help measure client efficacy. The analysis will generate important insights for innovation to help inform key business decisions.This position demands exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Additionally, it requires proficiency in researching, interpreting and modelling out commercial policy ideas as well as strong communication with the end client.Your responsibilities will be:
Develop and manage the commercial policy pipeline to actively manage Cboe’s competitive position in the market by:Viewing and understanding volume trends and customer usageQuantifying impact of fee changes & creative idea generation for pricing solutionsUnderstanding trading behaviorEvaluating market qualityIdentify new opportunities and initiate dialogue with clients and internal partners by providing support of one-off analyses and internal analyses Help design data sources for the Data Platform, reinforce Sigma as the source of visualizations for all types of company dataProvide regular updates on pricing initiatives, forecasts and key performance metrics to stakeholdersAssessing effectiveness and impact of new functionality and new products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement processes supporting the business and deliver analytic solutions that meet client’s needs.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape and regulatory developments to anticipate market opportunities and potential challenges.Represent Cboe at Industry conferences and client events to enhance brand awareness and foster new business opportunitiesUphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, colleagues and stakeholdersThe ideal candidate has:
Working knowledge of Sigma, Tableau or similar data visualization toolsExperience with modelling, statistics and analysisExcellent skills in Microsoft Excel & WordAbility to demonstrate and communicate complicated technical analysis in a business forumEstablished contact base and influence within target financial institutions is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence key decision-makers and build trusted internal and external relationships.Innovative problem solver with the ability to quickly identify and understand issues.10+ years experience relating to US equity or options market structure.Self-motivated, driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, financial engineering, data science, or a similar field.Benefits and Perks
