Primary Duties
Responsible for leading a team of Product Managers to define the strategy and associated product portfolio, develop strategic directions based on a solid market & customer knowledge leveraging internal insights & Strategic Marketing expertise to fill in the gap, identify & communicate development priorities, based on a strong business rationale, to execute the strategy.Develop the skills of the team, attracting talents and mentoring the team members.Ensure that a robust organization is in place, for the achievement of the Molecular business range & Company’s objectives.Decide and drive the prioritization & development of the right offer in collaboration with Projects and Programs. Contribute to grow the business range in coherency with the overall Clinical Operation strategy. Support Local & Regional Marketing teams to ensure alignment and efficient commercial execution.Contribute to transversal initiatives aiming at reinforcing the role & impact of the marketing community.Define & monitor OPEX budget.Contribute to the Budget and the Stratplan exercises with her/his team of product managers by developing Business Guidelines & Assumptions supporting Regional and Local Marketing projections.Work closely with our internal experts from R&D, Projects and Programs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Market Research, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Global Customers Service, as well as our Regions and Subsidiaries, while ensuring Voice of Customer representation in all our initiatives. Activities and teams are based in Grenoble, Verniolle, Marcy and Salt Lake City.Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required, preference in Business, Marketing, or Science5+ years of experience in a Global Marketing Function, ideally in an upstream position, with strong business acumen3+ years of direct people leadership experienceExperience in Molecular Infectious Diseases preferredKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Capacity to manage projects with multiple stakeholders from different departments mostly based in France in Grenoble, Verniolle and Marcy, and in the US in Salt Lake City.Deep knowledge of Molecular Infectious Disease market, of customers organizations and challenges and needs, of competition, both in LAB and POC segments.Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skillsOral and written communication skillsOrganizational and project management skillsManagement and leadership skillsSensitivity to a wide variety of cultures and a willingness to broaden horizons and experience to maximize personal relationships and business resultsComplete mastery of bioMérieux marketing product management processes and advanced knowledge of the Product Development Process (PDP).Capacity to articulate clear recommendations to upper management.
