What you will be doing

Sr Director of Partnerships will serve as the lead demand generator for Albertsons Health service solutions that improve customers’ lives and improve outcomes for health payers. Sr Director will identify, nurture, and operationalize contractual relationships with insurers, healthcare providers (including health systems), digital technology companies, device, pharma and CPG, non-profit and research institutions to further the strategic goals of ACI. This role will closely interact with ACI H&W leadership, Corporate Development, Marketing, Product, Managed Care, Technology, Digital and Business Development teams to grow and evolve the suite of healthcare and nutrition services and products ACI will offer to customers.

The Sr Director of Partnerships will develop and manage multiple payer and partner relationships, formulate approaches for alternative payment models participation, oversee strategic evaluation of partners through RFPs, represent ACI as the lead contract negotiator in complex commercial negotiations, define partnership frameworks for capabilities we want to build/own vs partner to execute on our strategy.

The position will be based in Bellevue, WA, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX or Pleasanton, CA.

Main responsibilities

Lead business development to drive the adoption of ACI digital health programs by payers (clinical and lifestyle programs) and healthcare providers, specifically focusing on regional health plans and employers. Create and evolve Value-Based Care (VBC) contracts that leverage ACI’s service and product assets across Pharmacy, grocery assortment, and Sincerely Health to promote the best outcomes for patient populations and enable new revenue streams for ACI. Work with internal partners (Marketing, Product, Technology, Digital, Clinical Operations and Business Development teams) to drive revenue-generating clinical journey programs and monetizable external partnerships. Influence/develop and integrate relevant digital and store key performance indicators, including input and output metrics that keep partners accountable to deliver mutually beneficial results and desired customer experience, focusing on scalability and efficiency. Present to ACI and partner executive teams regularly to communicate status updates, facilitate joint strategic planning and build relationships. Define, articulate and communicate the vision, roadmap, key decisions, and relevant learnings to all levels and departments as needed across the enterprise. Responsible for strategic planning for the enterprise business, including the annual and quarterly roadmap planning process. Plan and execute executive communications and key messages delivered to internal and external audiences

The salary range is $151,000 to $212,000 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). MBA, relevant graduate, and post-graduate degrees are preferred. Additional beneficial experience: management consulting, healthcare administration, healthcare operations, device and consumer technology.  Excellent facilitation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence and manage change at all levels. Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with ability to distill technical information into stories for a variety of audiences. Data driven mindset, with ability to design surveys, capture metrics and data, and leverage data and analytics to measure program effectiveness and progress. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint). Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-based environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, customer focused, and service-oriented
