Sr Director, Procurement
Job Description This candidate will oversee the research and development sourcing and supply center functions, working closely with scientific stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes. Lead the transformation of research and development sourcing and procurement functions Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Procure-to-pay (P2P) and research admin teams. Skills and Requirements Must Haves: Bachelors Degree (any) and 10+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement with a focus on scientific sourcing and procurement in industry such as biomedical or life sciences, overseeing spend categories Leading large scale procurement transformations, particularly in scientific buying Negotiation and contract management skills, supplier relationship management Data driven, financial acumen related to budget management, cost reduction and process improvement Soft skills Plusses: Experience with Jaggaer (procurement software) and Workday (ERP systems) Understanding of the evolving life sciences supplier landscape and regulatory considerations. Knowledge of IP, UCC, and Uniform Guidance (UG) a plus.
