Sr Director, Sales Development, Productivity & Experience
Job Description

Reporting to the VP, US Store Operations, this role focuses on enhancing sales processes, developing innovative strategies, and identifying productivity opportunities that result in multi-million dollars in savings year over year. This person will be a forward-thinking leader who can multi-task and operate in a fast-based retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operational excellence and the ability to drive sales and improve margins.

This position is part of a Hybrid work arrangement based in Raleigh, NC requiring four days a week in office. This role will require travel 50% of the time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned:

Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies that drive growth and enhance productivity across the sales organization.

Lead and Implement Productivity Measures: Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the stores organization to reduce costs and improve business profitability.

Significant cross functional collaboration to influence outcomes to drive sales and productivity across the Enterprise. 

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to promote the sales development and influence organizational buy-in and execution.

Data Analysis: Utilize sales data and market research to inform decision-making and strategic initiatives which includes monitoring industry climate and national trends relevant to retail operations.

Deep understanding of all functions of the enterprise, including store operations, logistics, merchandising, inventory, and pricing that impact productivity and service.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Identify gaps and lead the team to produce the programs that equip store teams with the skills and knowledge to succeed, including product training, sales techniques, and industry knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred

15+ years of experience in sales management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong organizational skills including setting priorities, planning, structuring project deliverables, and problem solving.

Proven track record of effectively managing conflict, resolving issues, mitigating risks and influencing leaders. ability to drive sales growth and improve productivity within a sales organization.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
