Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities:Oversee the Corporate Reporting Consolidations function for the global financial statements including the accurate, complete, and timely analysis and reporting to internal and external customers for consolidated financial results on a monthly, quarterly, annual and as-requested basisOversee the company’s SEC compliance efforts, including strategy, project planning, analysis of requirements, document support, preparation and review, and filings (e.g. 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, 11-K, SD, etc.)Drive continuous improvement activities to identify and implement efficiencies for the financial and SEC reporting processesProvide project leadership to accounting and reporting related initiatives (e.g., adoption of new accounting standards, accounting for acquisitions and divestitures), and other initiatives of the Controller’s OfficeAdvise global teams on technical accounting matters, statutory reporting, controls requirementsEnsure accurate financial accounting and reporting for complex transactions (e.g., restructurings, supplier contracts, derivatives, M&A, etc.)Oversee technical research as needed to support SEC filings and prepare position papers and other documentation as appropriateOversee the Corporate Financial policies (CFI’s), including drafting of new policies and ensuring existing policies are updated on a periodic basisEnsure the preparation and dissemination of periodic reports to the Audit Committee are of high qualityKey contributor to Digital Transformation InitiativeProfessional Skills & Qualifications   The Assistant Controller, Financial and SEC Reporting will ideally have the following skills and experience:Bachelor’s degree in, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.Minimum 15 years of relevant accounting and reporting experience  Broad and expert knowledge of financial reporting, SEC requirements and auditing principles.Experience in a multinational public company of similar size to Kimberly-Clark and/or a “Big 4” accounting firmStrong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, and competing time demands, and strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver effective communications and presentations. Have a think customer orientation to manage leaders’ and auditors’ expectations, and a continuous improvement mindset to further the company’s program of driving efficiency throughout the reporting process. Ability to build trust with key customers and stakeholders and a desire to broaden his/her exposure and knowledge beyond the corporate office. Educational requirements can be met by an undergraduate degree or better with a background in finance or accounting. Experience with  of and Hyperion Financial, Workiva and SAP systemsStrong working knowledge of technical accounting, controls, SOX, and audit processesBroad business acumen and analysis skillsExperience working and driving results internationally

The North America salary range: $215,500 - $278,500 USD

Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
