The role you’ll contribute:
The Senior Director is responsible for the strategic management and oversight of all RMR facilities and Facilities Departments, region-wide in addition to direct oversite of the Advent Health Porter campus. Plans, develops, and executes the region-wide vision for the Facilities, Control Systems, Energy Management, and Grounds Departments for the Region. Ensures that facility operations are effective, efficient, and in compliance with the CMS, DNV / Joint Commission, AHCA, and other federal and state safety and regulatory agencies. Develops, recommends, and executes methodologies to ensure that Facilities operates within budget, evaluating supply, labor, and contract usage needed to meet established annual metrics. Develops new business opportunities, implements required training and development of team members, and oversees the safety, procurement, and supply of industrial and maintenance products, contracts, and services for each facility. Ensures operations function with a high degree of coordination with clinical and business uses with high customer satisfaction.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Provides executive level oversight and direction to region-wide delivery and performance of Facilities, Control Systems, Energy Management, and Grounds Departments throughout the region.
Develops training programs to ensure Facilities staff is educated and knowledgeable about current codes and regulations with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements (AHCA, OSHA, DNV/Joint Commission), and with internal compliance, policies, and procedures.
Controls expenses within area of responsibility by developing and implementing processes that ensure departments operate within annual budgets.
Provides strategic input and direction for facility upgrades, and administrative oversight of theday-to-day operations, ensuring long term durability of facilities engineering systems.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School diploma or GED
Bachelor ’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience
Ten years of related experience
Five years of experience in facilities management and maintenance role in a hospital or health care setting
Progressive leadership experience, preferably in a health care setting
Driver’s license
