Sr Director of Production Operations

The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter. **Summary** The Senior Director of Production Operations will oversee and lead departments responsible for technical direction, production management, creative and scenic operations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive operational excellence across multiple disciplines. The Senior Director will ensure that all event production elements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations: + Dallas, TX + Las Vegas, NV + Chicago, IL + Orlando, FL **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** **Leadership and Management:** + Establish and maintain standards and processes to elevate innovation, fiscal performance, quality assurance and employee development. + Lead and inspire all Production Operations teams to achieve desired performance results. + Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes motivation, communication, and teamwork. + Establish regulatory review of new technology and processes with team members and drive action for continuous improvement. + Develop and implement change management methodologies to support transitions to new technologies or processes. + Lead a consultive framework between Growth and Delivery for the purpose of budgeting to produce and producing to budget without forsaking quality standards and operational excellence. **Operational Excellence:** + Drive simplification of processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. + Collaboratively set and meet KPIs for the department. + Ensure all established costs, quality, and service commitments are met. + Lead all appropriate personnel to optimize production and utilization of teams. + Establish and maintain the highest level of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service. + Financial Management: + Drive targeted profit margins through partnership with growth teams on budget development and solution architecture. + Be fiscally responsible for overall project profitability. **Strategic Planning:** + Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to support recruiting, training, and staffing of required project roles. + Build and manage a vendor network to expand the resource pool with dynamic skillsets and scalable project teams. + Plan in collaboration with procurement and National Directors for determining capital expenditures. + Plan areas of improvement and development for the department. **Customer Focus:** + Ensure customer deliverable timelines are met within budget through effective use of resources and staffing. + Maintain close, professional relationships with internal customers who drive business and spending decisions. + Audit policies, practices and execution onsite to ensure customer satisfaction. **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required. + Minimum of 10 years of related experience within event production, focusing on content development, creative solutions, and technical project management. + 5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience or progression. + Exceptional understanding of requirements when working with a union and contract workforce. + Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. + Proven ability to lead with vision, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience. + Ability to influence and inspire action with a focus on driving business results. + Experience juggling multiple clients with competing demands. **Travel Requirements** Travel 25% to 50% **What We Offer** Freeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
