Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Product Portfolio and Product Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading alignment of our product portfolio strategy with long term business strategy. You will drive product initiatives across the portfolio including evaluating the maturity of our products and areas where our products intersect. You will also have responsibility for product operations which partners with technology leaders to enhance ways of working within product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Ensure product portfolio alignment with CoverMyMeds' long term business strategy including prioritization of initiatives and resources within the product organizationPortfolio Management: Evaluate the maturity level of our products and capabilities. Engage with product VPs to support product life cycle decisions including investment and sunsettingCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to drive portfolio-wide initiativesMarket Analysis: Conduct market research, market size and growth, channel strategy, and competitive analysis, to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the product portfolioPerformance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product portfolio success and inform decision-makingProduct Operations: provide executive leadership for initiatives related to ways of working within product delivery. Partner closely with engineering peers to drive common approaches to building technology products, tracking progress, and measurementTeam Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing product portfolio and operations team (~6 FTEs)Change Management: Champion change initiatives within the product organizationStakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders (VPs, CMM Leadership team), and establish strong working relationships with peers across product and partner functionsProcess Alignment: Act as a central point for the CMM product organization to drive process alignment with commercial, operations, legal, compliance, and public affairsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred10+ years of experience in strategy, product management, portfolio management, or product operations, with at least five years in a leadership roleExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsPreferred skills:
Curiosity and Strategic Mindset – this role will require a deep understanding of our products, customer needs, dynamic markets, and best practices among industry leaders.
