Job Overview

The Sr. Director, Product Supply Production & Logistics Planning is responsible for strategically managing CCCI’s Production Capacity, production scheduling, network logistics and strategies to provide the product and inventory it needs to sell to customers. This role has direct responsibility for the team that manages the production scheduling for every case CCCI produces. The Sr. Director, Product Supply Production & Logistics Planning also leads the capacity management and detailed scheduling of CCCI’s 39 Manufacturing lines. The role is also responsible for developing operational transportation and capacity policy and direct the optimization of the supply chain network by balancing the capacity of loading operations at the production sites and distribution hubs, the transportation delivery effectiveness and the receiving operations at the distribution centers. The Director partners with Manufacturing, Red Classic and Distribution Center leadership to develop and implement capacity balancing opportunities. The role will also oversee the optimization and development of new processes in support of the transportation of all products with the CCCI network and partnering with Red Classic to improve On Time Delivery and On Time Receipt performance and to lower transportation costs. The role influences senior CCCI leadership on initiatives that drive CCCI’s strategic vision and represents CCCI to NAOU and other bottlers.

Duties & Responsibilities Leads the capacity management and detailed scheduling of CCCI’s 39 Manufacturing lines across 11 Plants. Responsible for strategically managing CCCI’s Production Capacity, inventory policies, supplier relationships, and strategies to provide the product and inventory it needs to sell to customers and meet the needs of the commercial plan. Oversees the development and implementation of process improvements and cost saving initiatives, including but not limited to improvements to on-time delivery and on-time receipt and the reduction in transportation cost. Manages the CCCI Operational Relationship with Red Classic. Proactively coordinates and communicates out contingency plans for unplanned events (Weather, CO2 Shortage, etc…). Responsible for leading collaborative solutions for supply risk mitigation and optimization of margin and service through supporting a set of highly cross-functional business routines that translate the business strategy into both mid-and short-term business plans. Directs, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Experience leading, building and Collaborating with multiple levels internal to and external to an organization Project Management Skills Sales and Operations planning Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Operations and Supply Chain Business Systems is needed A strong knowledge of the beverage or consumable products industry is preferred Competency in the use of Excel, Word, Margin Minder, SAP Materials Management and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to develop professional relationships with others (suppliers, CCNA, NPSG, field users, etc) Background and experience in purchasing, operations, supply chain and scheduling Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, Transportation Industry either as a Shipper or a Carrier, preferably both. Ability to work cross functionally and across levels to help guide process execution. Demonstrated strength in complex conceptual understanding and leading/influencing change. Must be able to balance the diverse responsibility of Lifecycle Management. Planning Optimization, Demand Forecasting, and Fulfillment Planning Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, IT Architecture; Consumer Good knowledge is a plus with Beverage Industry experience preferred. Understanding of Logistics processes and their impact on overall Supply Chain Operations and Planning is critical. ERP experience such as SAP and other strong capabilities with regards to analytical applications like MS Access is required. Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, Financial Management, Relevant Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry; preferably bottling Quick Strategic Learning and Mental Agility, Demonstrated capability of working with Senior Management and Field level personnel. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with more than 7 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering Work Environment
