Sr EHS Auditor

Title:  Senior Environmental Health & Safety Auditor
Location:  Katy, TX
Additional locations may include any large Olin manufacturing site, or virtual location

Salary: $112,536 - $163,740
Schedule: Remote schedule or Hybrid schedule available (up to 2 days remote per week)

Focus: The Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Auditor will plan and lead internal Environmental Health Safety & Transportation (EHS&T) and Process Safety Mamagement/Risk Management Plan audits performed under the direction of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors to ensure regulatory compliance at Olin sites.  The EHS&T Audit group works collaboratively with plant, site, and EH&S leaders to perform this critical function for the company.

Sr. EHS Auditor Essential Job Functions:

Evaluate Olin locations for audit scope and timing. Develop a risk and compliance based annual facility audit plan (3-5 years). Schedule annual facility audits based on the approved audit plan. Coordinate and conduct pre-audit preparation and on-site audit activities.  Coordinate with the audit team (contract and internal guest auditors) audit scheduling, on-site audit activities, findings, and reporting. Prepare draft and final audit reports, facilitating review. Assist in preparation of reports and summaries for the Audit Committee. Develop, recommend, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures consistent with prevailing industry practices. Sr EHS Auditor Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree* in Engineering, Occupational Health/Safety or related discipline. Minimum of 15 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience. Knowledge and understanding of policies, statutes, regulations, agency guidelines, internal standards, etc., and of the management systems and operations being audited. Professional registration and/or certification in environmental, health, and safety auditing organization highly desirable, or education/training/experience sufficient to obtain such certification. Strong planning, organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and conduct multiple projects simultaneously. Must be willing and able to travel 40-60%. Must be able to travel internationally. Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred. Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
