JR67524 SR/ ENGINEER, MSB GEL

You are responsible for new equipment introduction, risk assessment, equipment setup and release, as well as continuous improvement activities such as equipment utilization optimization, innovation, cost reduction. Through this role, you will enhance your technical skills in lab management, project management, and strengthen your engagement by collaborating with stakeholders, global GEL organizations across Micron sites and equipment vendors.

Job Details/Responsibilities:

Manage GEL Labs operations and compliance, including Internal and External audits, ESD and Calibration, 6S+ and Chemical control in MSB and F10N GEL/Umbrella Labs.Managing existing GEL Equipment, PM, Document Controls, Risk Assessments, Equipment Utilization monitoring, ET Items and checklist updating, etc.Setting up FOAK tools, publishing Equipment specs, buy off procedure, Doc2 submission, IT and Unix setup, facilitations, layout planning, vendor model package, Equipment maintenance OJT, etc.Establish technical expertise on equipment , which includes AXCEL, MONGOOSE, MERLIN, ADVANTEST, PALOMAR, MAGNUM Testers, Probe Stations, Thermostream and all FOAK and provide technical support to stakeholders.Manage the above mentioned Equipment inventory controls.Lead and deploy GEL initiatives in MSB and F10N including BKMs and KPIs.Troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance of equipment, upgrades, and asset scrap.Manage workday training for relevant equipment OJT and TPG/Site training requirements.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering related field or equivalent experience.Prior Unix, ET, JIRA, Confluence, Workday Admin, ESD TR53 and tableau experience preferred.An understanding of Safety including Ergonomics, OSHA and Risk Assessment.Proficiency in basic statistics, data analysis and data presentation.High degree of self-initiative with an ability to think independently.Time management and multi-tasking skills.
