SR ENGINEER, TDT PD FILMS

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

JR70547 SR ENGINEER, TDT PD FILMS

As a TDT(Technology Development Taiwan)FILMS Sr Engineer, we will design and optimize FILMS processes for Micron's DRAM technology. We will take ideas from conception through process development and then implement it in our pilot line. Our primary areas of responsibility includes FILMS process characterization, optimization, design, trouble shooting, process transfer and fundamental research. FILMS Process Development Engineer needs to work well with many groups such as process integration, electrical failure analysis, yield enhancement, manufacturing, and equipment suppliers to establish the robust FILMS processes. It meets the detailed physical and electrical requirements for our product. We have the collaboration with other DRAM Development site leaders to align on development strategies, objectives and provide on-site support to drive various technology development projects. This role is very critical to the success of our product since our work delay impact Micron business plan. In this role, we will also collaborate with Micron’s each site Manufacturing and OCT(Operation Central Team) to apply "best in class" methods to develop the manufacturing ability. Besides, you also need to work closely with the supplier. We are encouraged to maintain the good partnership and trust with our supplier through your project. Those experiences really help you to grow up as Engineer and to open up the future career.

Responsibilities:

Develop, characterize, and implement new FILMS solutions by optimizing recipe parameters in CVD or ALD or PVD processesIdentify interactions between process, chemistry, and hardware to improve process performance.Plan and implement effective experiments, write clear detailed reports, and communicate optimally with global multi-functional teams.Build the insightful inferences based on the data, including materials, defects, and electrical data.Work in multi-functional teams to develop device structures.Support multi-functional failure analysis and yield improvementSupport root cause defect and fail mode analysis.Maintain or develop expertise in multiple process, hardware, or technology areas.Be resource for peers in recipe & process development.Leverage across node learning to develop for manufacturabilityWork with each manufacturing site and OCT to facilitate the successful transfer of new technologyMaintain area procedures and training required to ensure legal compliance and conformance to a management system

Requirements:

M.S. or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.Sound fundamentals of materials science and engineering; including thermodynamics, film growth kinetics, and alloy phase diagrams. Shown good communication and teamwork.Basic knowledge of CMOS device physics. Background in a variety of FILMS deposition techniques, particularly ALD, CVD, and/or PVD.Experience with several surface analysis techniques, such as: XPS, AFM, XRD, AES, EBSD, and/or SIMS etc.Working understanding of electrical properties, shown state physics and film characterization techniques such as CV, Hall mobility, IV measurementsStrong at solving complicated problems including experience with leading multi-functional task-forcesFlexible with international travel, including short or long-term assignments as neededProficient in Mandarin and English languages
