Responsible for generation and delivery of concept and manufacturing design definitions, based on technical specifications, requirements and other constraints. Strong experience of Plastic design, DFMEA, DOE, DFA tools. Strong hands on Experience in 3D modeling and 2D Engineering drawings. Managing the conceptual development for new product development using 3D CAD (Preferably Solid Works) Knowledge of Proto Typing & Testing for validations. Build required BOM on PLM (3D Experience). Basic knowledge of FEA and Mould3D tools (Preferable) Make Design Detailing; Analyze Designs, Identify Risks & Prepare Mitigation Plans. Ability to Analyze Simulations, Basic Engineering Assessments. Plan, control and deliver assigned projects, ensuring requirements are delivered to plan and budget (managing a number of projects at any one time) Keep Project Health dashboard and weekly presentation with leadership. Responsible of Tooling feasibility and basic knowledge of Injection Moulding process. Material selection and plastic product development required. Quality & Reliability Improvements by Design.
