In this position, you will act as the Company’s technical liaison with governmental agencies and independently coordinate the work of consultants or contractors providing services to the Company. We would love to hear from you today!
What You Will Do:
Provide environmental permitting advice, assistance and support to Operations and others regarding system operations, maintenance, projects.
Oversee permitting and regulatory compliance, develop, or recommend procedures, provide guidance and relevant written resources or support materials.
Create, update, and implement various environmental compliance documents, contract specifications, technical resource documents, manuals and similar.
Develop and coordinate Company environmental awareness initiatives, training programs, and ongoing outreach efforts, materials, and resources.
Coordinate and direct preparation, implementation due diligence reviews for acquisitions/divestiture.
Develop and manage PSD permitting and compliance approaches, develop appropriate monitoring procedures, and prepare necessary regulatory reports.
Review and interpret existing or emerging regulations or industry efforts and develop Company response to them.
Who You Are:
You have the following education and experience:
Engineering Degree
Professional Engineering designation (preferred – not required)
At least 7 or more years of air permitting experience, preferably in pipeline, industry, and infrastructure sectors.
Knowledge of air permitting procedures and processes across multiple states for minor sources, major sources, operating permits, PSD permitting and Non-Attainment New Source Review permits.
Familiarity with best management practices for environmental protection.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work with minimal supervision.
Computer skills using Microsoft Office products.
A self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, focused internally and externally at all levels
The ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to apply strategic solutions to issues
Demonstrates a willingness to implement new ideas within acceptable boundaries
High level of personal and professional integrity and commitment to Enbridge’s values
Working Conditions:
Office environment with a significant amount of regular travel to field locations.

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
