We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in with proven experience in developing cloud-native API applications. The successful candidate will be a high-energy individual who can develop peer relationships that build on positive and open interaction. 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. Develop and maintain high-quality code in React for the front-end and Node.js for the back end. Participate in the architecture and implementation of cloud-native solutions, leveraging technologies such as AWS serverless. Assist in solving technical problems and troubleshoot issues during development and production. Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality and best practices. Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying them as appropriate to our development process.

Key Duties:

Lead through industry change to help agents and franchisees react swiftly to new market developments. Transform integrated owned brokerage into a new competitive market positioning via integration and digital delivery. Invest in our luxury business with a focus on new revenue sources to differentiate our industry leadership. Fortify our mass-market franchise business by combining existing earnings power with new revenue opportunities and a modernized, digital-led services approach. Execute a cross-company transformation focusing on simplifying, standardizing, digitizing, automating, and using Generative AI to create a faster, more efficient company.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with 2 to 5 years of hands-on development experience. Strong proficiency in React and Node.js, with a track record of delivering successful web applications. Familiarity with cloud-native development principles and experience with cloud platforms like AWS. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and related libraries (e.g., Redux). Experience with RESTful API design and integration. Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically. Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Experience with Anywhere's unique advantages, such as our franchise power, luxury marketing, and digital-led services approach.
