**Job Description:**
Determines the optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products from start-up, building the product line, through satisfactory production. This includes analyzing engineering design documents to establish manufacturing methods and processes to manufacture a component, creating conceptual sketches and initiating the design and building of required tooling. Describes outside vendor services needed for the manufacture of a component. Establishes outsourced vendor manufacturing & quality plans. Roles that drive improvement to product cost, quality and performance by utilizing Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies should be assigned to this job family. Jobs that provide engineering technical support in this field should be assigned to this job family.

The Engineering Manager will be expected to stay at the forefront of industry standards and technological advancements. They will play a critical role in maintaining the company's reputation for high-quality medical device production and will be instrumental in upholding the company's commitment to safety and compliance.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company not only meets but exceeds the stringent requirements of medical device manufacturing, making a significant impact on the quality of patient care. The Engineering Manager will be a champion of change, driving operational excellence and leading their team towards achieving operational goals and objectives.
**_ACCOUNTABILITIES_** _– describe role accountabilities/responsibilities, i.e. what the role does. Should cover the following:_
The Engineering Manager in Operations will be responsible for overseeing the introduction of new products within the operations sector. This role encompasses the development and enhancement of production processes, as well as the maintenance of these processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with GMP and industry standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the introduction of new medical device products into the operations workflow.
- Develop innovative solutions to enhance existing production processes.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance across all operational levels.
- Ensure the maintenance of production processes to uphold product quality and reliability.
- Actively promote Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards within the workplace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with company objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

- Proven experience in engineering management within the medical device manufacturing industry.
