Job Summary

The Enterprise Architect enables business and IT leaders to make investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization. Furthermore the Enterprise Architect provides technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices. The Enterprise Architect plays a critical role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our landscape. This role requires a deep understanding of technology and processes. The Enterprise Architect should be a strategic thinker, able to align IT initiatives with overall business goals, while also possessing the technical skills to deliver complex projects.

The Enterprise Architect Principal works with business and technology teams to develop and manage corporate and business strategies for applications and technologies that deliver and sustain end-to-end business operations. They must be able to partner effectively with a wide range of teams, including business leaders, delivery teams and external partners in order to drive business success while promoting and ensuring alignment with the enterprise portfolio and technology strategy.

Job Responsibilities Implementation/management of Enterprise Architecture and Technology Standards programs in medium to large organizations Provide sound expertise in product/program management and alignment with Architecture deliverables (road maps, principles, standards, and best practices) Proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way Management of program budgets and Technology cost centers in large corporate environments to ensure corporate targets are met Ensure vendor contracts support business and corporate needs     Work with business areas to understand needs/requirements with an Ability provide innovative solutions Assess solutions for current and future needs across organizations Lead teams on the implementation and enhancements of Energy Efficiency technologies, and/or cloud technologies Act as an innovator and agent leading organizations and people through change Long term planning including building roadmaps and program planning Provide leadership and influence  Present to all levels of management and executive leadership Job Specific Qualifications

Required

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field 8+ years working in technology solutions engineering Experience in disciplines such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multi-tier environment.  Working knowledge of at least one common application framework (e.g., .NET, J2EE, Mainframe…etc…) Working knowledge of common EA Strategy processes and architectures (e.g., Cloud, Virtualization, Containerization, Data Mgmt…etc…)  Working knowledge of at least one common Cloud platform (e.g., Azure AWS) Experience with building EA repositories and artifacts via EA Management tools a plus (e.g., LeanIX) Previous experience and working knowledge of technical/solutioning architectures across at least one other architectural domain (e.g., Applications, Data, Security, Infrastracture) – at a level of expertise that would enable them to assume an architecture leadership role in various architecture implementation efforts.  Experience defining / implementing / managing Enterprise Architecture and Technology Standards programs in medium to large organizations Ability to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way Proficient in working with business area’s to understand needs/requirements with an ability provide innovative solutions Technically knowledgeable with the ability to assess solutions for current and future needs across organizations.   Proven experience in long term planning including building roadmaps and program planning Digital acumen Strong leadership and influence skills Ability to present to all levels of management & executive leadership Excellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills Must have and maintain a valid US Driver's License and a safe driving history Minimum Years of Experience 8 years of experienceEducation Bachelor’sCertifications Disclaimer
