Come join our global Events Team, responsible for leading the operational experience of our Sage Discovery Center in Atlanta. The center is designed to deepen customer and partner relationships, accelerate sales growth, and inspire through the art of the possible.
We’re seeking a talented Sr. Event Manager for our state-of-the art, Experience Center in Atlanta. Your role will be pivotal in leading the operations of the Sage Discovery Center, manage the Coordinator of the Sage Discovery Center, and work with the accompanying team, and business stakeholders in the day-to-day activities surrounding the center. This includes executive-level visibility, top-tier customer interactions, financial management and driving towards KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the Sage Discovery Center to provide the highest level of hospitality and operational excellent, throughout pre-event planning, event registration and onsite event experience for all visitors.
• Continue to drive the vision of the Discovery Center, help develop governance protocol and establish best in class experiences
• Identify and oversee a variety of vendors and stakeholders to ensure ongoing impeccable A/V and production, flawless/unique food and beverage service and frictionless event technology for our guests.
• Develop the internal operational working team, connecting all functions within the space, to work seamlessly together.
• Set the Event Coordinator up for success by supporting consultative approach in planning each event. Work with requestors to realize their goals while upholding the world-class standards of the Sage Discovery Center.
• Lead all events to the standards of the Global Event Team.
• Manage oversight of the Sage Discovery Center calendar to maximize use of the Center, adhere to governance guidelines, and ensure accuracy and visibility for stakeholders.
• Continually assess and challenge ways of working and operational protocol to raise standards of excellence.
• Be the first point of contact for any escalations, troubleshoot and resolve quickly and effectively.
• Establish monthly dashboards of center activity and proactively share with Sr Stakeholder leadership team.
• Track and manage event and operational budgets.
• Create documentation for best practices, event guide, strategy and measurement.
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
• 7+ years’ experience in corporate events or event facilities management, experience center or executive briefing center strongly preferred
• Must reside in Atlanta and be available to be on-site daily in the center at Ponce City Market
• Strong logistical and project management skills
• Able to work in a dynamic fast paced environment with ability to be flexible and react quickly to customer and business needs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and audiences
• Results oriented with strong time management skills
• Demonstrate skills that deliver an extraordinary customer experience
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change
• Outstanding cross-team collaboration skills, as part of a small team which will need to work closely supporting one another for mutual success
• Work heavily with event technology including event management platforms (Certain), mobile applications, and more
• BS/BA in Hospitality Management, Marketing, etc. or equivalent experience.
