Job Summary:

The Sr. Specialist will support the Acrisure Global Event Management (GEM) Team under the Acrisure Communications department with a focus on internal and client-focused meetings & event responsibilities. To be successful in this role, the applicant must be able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects, meetings/events and tasks with minimal supervision and react with the appropriate level of urgency to projects or tasks. Key to the position is to be a self-starter, ability to consistently prioritize to meet deadlines and be extremely focused to detail.

Responsibilities:

Event management:Holistically and independently manage simple to complex event logisticsOversee budget (preliminary, working and final) and manage T&E by meeting/eventPrioritize, plan and self-manage multiple events concurrentlyCoordinate team activities (staff meetings, all-hands meetings, and social events)RFP and vendor managementPost-event and ROI analysisEvent collateral, supply & giveaway inventory, and shipment managementInvoice and contract managementMailbox, calendar, and SharePoint organizationAssist GEM Team with:Event tracking dashboard tool inputEvent survey toolInvitation list management (RSVP tracking)Event collateral managementEvent shipment managementEvent supply inventory managementExecute events as part of a teamLead and/or support event lifecycle as assigned:Invitation and attendee list managementCommunication development and review process (save-the-date, invitation, website etc.)Venue research and Request for Proposal (RFP) processEvent collateralOnsite executionMake decisions during events without supervisionAllocate expenses appropriatelyManage vendor relationshipsCommunicate effectively with event stakeholders (including senior level executives) as well as multiple cross-functional team membersAdditional M&E duties as assigned30% travel estimate

Requirements

Education and Experience:

BA or BS degree or equivalent experience6+ years executing the full lifecycle of corporate meeting & event planningCMP (Certified Meeting Professional) preferred

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
