Hybrid (Combination of work from home and in-assigned office location) Responsibilities About the role: Extended Payment Privileges (EPP) allows eligible dealerships to delay payment of new vehicle wholesale floorplan obligations to GMF for vehicles sold to eligible purchasers when actual payment is not made by the purchaser at the time of delivery. CLS is responsible for the autonomous review and analysis of data generated through the floorplan audit functions within the Commercial Lending Risk Operations group. You as the Sr Extended Payment Privilege Analyst will monitor policies and procedures related to EPP, verify EPP qualifications, verify with purchaser all terms noted on EPP paperwork upon notification, monitor inventory in EPP status, contact the dealership and request payment, obtain an extension from the established appropriate approval authority when needed, conduct EPP audits, and review appropriate systems. You as the Sr EPP Analyst shall also report on EPP trends and establish appropriate courses of action to limit risk. You will also work in conjunction with cross-departmental teams involved in portfolio monitoring/commercial account management, workouts, and status accounts. In this role you will: Make initial contact with new EPP end users to verify contact information including name, phone number and email address Monitor policies and procedures related to EPP Verify Extended Pay Privilege (EPP) qualifications when EPP privileges for business or municipality are requested Verify with purchaser all terms noted on EPP paperwork upon notification (by dealership personnel, vendor performing an audit, Inventory Control Analyst, Commercial Account Manager, or Servicing Department), investigating, and resolving discrepancies Monitor inventory in EPP status to ensure that vehicles are taken out of EPP status and balances paid in full when indicated Contact the dealership and request payment if for any reason the payoff is not received in full according to established payment terms, notifying dealership personnel whenever payoff is due, collecting payment from the dealership if the end user fails to pay Follow with end users for payment confirmation as needed to ensure dealers are making timely payments when funded Obtain an extension of EPP privileges when appropriate Recommend appropriate course of action for troubled accounts Conduct and review EEP audits to validate terms and accuracy of reported information at intervals indicated in policy Reports out on EPP and audit related issues Review appropriate systems to ensure that EPP fees are charged as outlined in the Master Loan Agreement and Schedule 1 Provide training on EPP processes to backup Perform end user audits/reviews as needed yearly, which requires financial statement analysis to determine creditworthiness of the end user Qualifications Knowledge Understanding of dealer operations, commercial lending with emphasis in captive automotive dealership financing Knowledge of dealer workout Excellent analytical skills, oral/written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interface with all levels of management Excellent persuasive communication and presentation skills Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Must be self-motivated and able to work independently Ability to make sound business decisions based on policies and procedures Able to meet deadlines Team player with strong leadership and motivational skills Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred 4-6 years of directly related Commercial Lending experience in the automotive industry with emphasis on automotive dealership operations, inventory management, and with dealers in default/SOT required #LI-JE1 #LI-hybrid
