general preventive maintenance and repair of various areas around the facilityJob Responsibilitiesmiddot Completes work orders documents appropriate information on completed work andor documents the status of equipment in order to maintain appropriate records for regulatory agencies middot Utilizes materials wood metal concrete plastics composites to fit and install glass windows pictures ceiling tiles perimeter rail systems wood trim and moldings medical hardware stations fire extinguishers eye wash stations and other projectsmiddot Performs general outside maintenance mowing lawns weeding raking leaves trimming bushes snow removal and ice control tasks shoveling saltingmiddot Perform minor plumbing repairs and replacements of faucets toilets and flush valvesmiddot Performs the decorative application to walls ceiling and other structures which includes scraping sanding filling holes and cracks removing replacing outlet and switch covers masking and applying paint or wall covering to surfaces based on manufacturing specificationsmiddot Uses Building Automation System BAS to identify issues with the HVAC equipment Trains others on how to operate BASmiddot Knowledge of fire doors fire and smoke walls and a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements around them middot Reviews projects and provides estimates cost supplies materials etc to complete the
