The Senior - Facilities position will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of facilities operations. This role will focus on food and beverage management, general maintenance, engineering services, building maintenance, and event management support.
Food and Beverage Management:
The position will manage the daily operations of food and beverage services, including vendor coordination for pantry services, tuck shops, and vending machines.Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a high level of service quality.Manage vendor relationships, monitor service levels, and optimize costs.General and Building Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance of office infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and building safety.Implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the smooth functioning of facilities.Address urgent maintenance issues to minimize disruptions to daily operations.Engineering Services:
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure the efficient operation of technical services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.Lead initiatives related to building upgrades, energy efficiency, and sustainability.Event Management & Employee Engagement Support:
Support the site operations teams in planning and executing corporate events, town halls, and other employee engagement activities.Ensure all facility-related aspects (seating, equipment, catering) are arranged efficiently for events and activities.Assist in managing third-party event vendors and logistics for on-site and off-site events.Ensure facilities align with the requirements for corporate events, employee engagement programs, and meetings.Provide logistical and operational support for internal and external events, including setup, space planning, and coordination of necessary services.Vendor and Contract Management:
Manage vendor contracts and relationships for food services, maintenance, and event-related services.Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and review performance regularly.Track and manage facility-related expenses, ensuring adherence to allocated budgets.Qualifications and Experience:
8-12 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on food and beverage services, engineering, building maintenance, and event management support.Proven expertise in managing large corporate facilities with operational efficiency.Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and cost control.Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Desired Skills:
