Sr Finance Analyst

As a Southend Site Finance Leader – Sr Finance Analyst at Honeywell, in Southend, ESSEX, provide leadership and analysis support to the site leadership team and key stakeholders to create increased visibility into operational strategy and performance with the goal of driving speed, quality and cost efficiency. Additionally, this role will encourage a continuous drive on productivity and working capital and necessary return on investments, while ensuring strong controllership and compliance. The role’s main responsibilities are providing financial guidance and influencing all activities at the sites to achieve its financial objectives. The role will actively partner with site leadership as well as the ISC Finance team. This role reports to the Europe Fire ISC finance leader. At present this role is following 3+2 hybrid working model.

You will also develop/maintain standard reporting and MOS focused on productivity / spend performance and working capital (inventory / payables) and other required functional support to the site team throughout the month. Planning and estimating will also be a key support area involving the development and tracking of ideal and future state cost structures and expansion of the necessary tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

       Drive financial and operational performance in the site- Lead efforts across the site on cost containment actions and driving accountability to targeted commitments.       Cost, Inventory, Productivity & Working Capital focus-Advance understand of standard costing (Inventory cycle count analysis, PI count, material costing, variance analysis, PPV analysis, routing validations).       Analysis, FP&A- Forecast, analyze, and report Variances along with commentary showing drivers.       Provide key support and transparency to the site leadership team- Provide key reports and analysis to site leadership and other key stakeholders on current performance metrics, future forecasts and associated risks and opportunities       Planning -Creation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Loading of functional cost to site cost centers. Inventory revaluation review, Transfer price analysis and tax support, Prorates and Transfers-Allocations (Internal Settled Cost, Plant Engineering, Labor and Overhead)

 Must Have Skills

       Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance       Minimum 4 years in Finance field and experience in ISC finance or related roles. Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices       Experience of US GAAP Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal controls       Proficiency in Hyperion, Excel, Tableau and SAP systems       Excellent communication and presentation skills
