This is an awesome opportunity to partner with the Americas Leadership Team to drive short-long term financial and operational execution. The Sr Finance Director will own the Finance Business Partnering for Manufacturing in the Americas region, including oversee all financial activities within the factories in Monterrey and Virginia, ensuring strong financial performance. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, budgeting, reporting and handling large factory construction projects. **Core Responsibilities:** + **Finance Business Partnering:** Act as a strategic partner across the 3 manufacturing sites, providing financial insights and support to drive business decisions. + **Stakeholder Engagement:** Build strong relationships with key partners to understand their financial needs and challenges. + **Performance Monitoring:** Track and analyse departmental performance, offering actionable insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness. + **Decision Support:** Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support key business decisions, including new projects, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements. + **Examples of Tasks:** + **Budget Reviews:** Conduct regular budget reviews with department heads to ensure alignment with financial goals. + **Cost-Benefit Analysis:** Perform cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects to determine financial viability. + **Financial Modelling:** Develop financial models to forecast future performance and support strategic planning. + **Variance Analysis:** Analyse financial variances and provide explanations and recommendations for corrective actions. + **KPI Development:** Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational performance. + **Ad Hoc Reporting:** Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by senior management. + **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Lead the annual budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasts. + **Financial Reporting:** Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. + **Cost Management:** Monitor and control factory costs to improve profitability. + **Team Leadership:** Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a continuous improvement mindset and End-to-End understanding. + **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate financial risks. + **Investment Analysis:** Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations. + **Collaboration:** Work closely with Engineering and other central teams to support operational and strategic initiatives. **Are you up for the challenge?** + Relevant experience in Finance in a Sr Leadership role in manufacturing environment. + Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills. + Shown understanding about manufacturing accounting principles. + High level of integrity and strong leadership. **Hybrid** **working** **model** Our workplace enables our LEGO® colleagues to be and do their best at work.
