The Sr. Financial Accounting Analyst will provide accounting and business support for the Disney Vacation Club Condominium Associations from both a financial reporting and budget development aspect. We are seeking a finance professional who will develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Ideal candidates will possess experience in financial statement preparation and presentation (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) with a background in conforming with GAAP.
What You Will DoPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations and analyzes financial resultsEnsures the annual operating forecast for each Association aligns with changes in the business and influences partners to ensure alignment with budget guidelinesSupports workstreams on behalf of all the Associations that could include property taxes, insurance, bank transfers and regulatory compliancePrepares financial statements and develops variance explanations for presentation to executive leadersConsolidates the annual dues budget for multiple AssociationsRecommends and implements process improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications & Skills3+ years of relevant experience in accounting Proficient in all aspects of accounting principles and financial reportingEnsure compliance with financial regulationsDemonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detailStrong advanced Excel modeling skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data and ensure accuracyStrong analytical and accounting skillsProven ability to perform ad hoc analysis in a fast-paced dynamic environment and ability to work with a sense of urgency and curiosityDemonstrated strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent team player with solid interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in providing financial support within the Timeshare industryWorking knowledge of SAP, Longview and Power BIExperience with Fund AccountingCertified Public AccountantEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalentAdditional InformationDisney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
