Located in the United States, the Finance Analyst role at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. sits within our dynamic Project Delivery Integrated Project Solutions organization. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to influence and drive financial success across all therapeutic units.

A day in the Life:

Spearhead key activities to improve study margins and financial risk mitigation.

Collaborate with project and finance leads to ensure successful financial management.

Provide data modeling and trend analysis to inform technical solutions and decision-making.

Keys to Success:

Proven ability to influence and lead both directly and indirectly.

Solid business insight and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to coach and mentor others in financial processes.

Education

Equivalent experience is accepted in lieu of a bachelors' degree.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in operational and financial management of projects.

Experience in financial risk management and high priority assessment.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate financial initiatives and optimize processes.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Excellent knowledge of financial management systems and processes.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Ability to navigate complex challenges and handle ambiguity.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role primarily operates in an office environment but may require minimal travel. The ability to work with a computer for extended periods is essential.
