Responsibilities:

Reports, analyzes, forecasts, and interprets financial operating data; may include profit/loss analysis, cost analysis, product costing, rate of return, depreciation, and any other ad-hoc analysis of interest to managementParticipates in the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan which may include functional area specific modeling, time-series analysis, and graphic presentation of both operating and financial dataPrepares complex financial analysis reports in a timely and accurate mannerInterprets and applies policies and procedures to new situationsAdvises on and recommends to management desirable operational adjustments and interprets budget to actual varianceMay perform ROI analysis investments and develop operating metricsReviews performance to plan and conduct prior year's variance analysisReviews business unit financial statements and policies to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelinesAssists other Finance and organizational areas with financial matters as required and may serve as a mentor and evaluator of more junior team members

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalentMinimum 5 years related experienceFinancial experience in the manufacturing industry preferredAdvanced PC skills including Windows and the Microsoft Office SuiteAdvanced understanding of financial analysis and accounting policies, procedures and programs (ex: general ledger systems)Solid communication and interpersonal skills Advanced skills in the development of financial ratios and comparative analysisThorough understanding of general accounting principles Demonstrated ability to with mentoring of more junior team members
