We are hiring a Sr Financial Analyst at our Bloomington, MN location. In this role, you will be involved with analyzing, forecasting, and interpreting financial data to support management decisions, including profit/loss analysis, ROI, and variance reviews. The role also prepares complex reports, ensures policy compliance, assists with financial planning, and mentors junior team members. If you are analytical and curious by nature, this job is for you!
Responsibilities:
+ Reports, analyzes, forecasts, and interprets financial operating data; may include profit/loss analysis, cost analysis, product costing, rate of return, depreciation, and any other ad-hoc analysis of interest to management
+ Participates in the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan which may include functional area specific modeling, time-series analysis, and graphic presentation of both operating and financial data
+ Prepares complex financial analysis reports in a timely and accurate manner
+ Interprets and applies policies and procedures to new situations
+ Advises on and recommends to management desirable operational adjustments and interprets budget to actual variance
+ May perform ROI analysis investments and develop operating metrics
+ Reviews performance to plan and conduct prior year's variance analysis
+ Reviews business unit financial statements and policies to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines
+ Assists other Finance and organizational areas with financial matters as required and may serve as a mentor and evaluator of more junior team members
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
+ Minimum 5 years related experience
+ Financial experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
+ Advanced PC skills including Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite
+ Advanced understanding of financial analysis and accounting policies, procedures and programs (ex: general ledger systems)
+ Solid communication and interpersonal skills
+ Advanced skills in the development of financial ratios and comparative analysis
+ Thorough understanding of general accounting principles
+ Demonstrated ability to with mentoring of more junior team members
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $73,500 to $122,500 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
