As a Sr. Financial Analyst for the Americas Converting Division, you will be responsible for key accounting processes, financial analysis, and creation of knowledge tools to deliver world class financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role with 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment. This position provides an opportunity to drive superior business results within the largest business division, with over 50 converting plants in the Americas. 

 

Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

 

Accounting Responsibilities:

Complete the accounting and monthly close process for assigned functions and activities including Balance Sheet reviews and P&L statements Review and prepare account re-class entries, inventory validation, central reconciliations, intercompany, and miscellaneous allocations Develop improvements for existing accounting and month end close processes Partner with plant controllers to create, deploy, and provide training on best practices for accounting processes Support SOX compliance for the region and provide a high level of support for audits of critical processes Proactively assist company’s external auditors and internal auditors, as needed, to ensure an efficient and effective audit process

 

Financial Analysis Responsibilities:

Collaborate across business units to improve processes and procedures Provide supporting analysis to Executive team related to SG&A costs Provide back up support for central Americas division Finance team, as needed Analysis of monthly business results including P&L and Balance Sheet trends Ad Hoc reporting and other duties, as needed

 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree is a plus Minimum 2 years of work experience in a Finance or Accounting role Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools Prior experience with Alteryx automations preferred ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred

Pay Range:   $78,750.00 - $105,000.00
