Position Summary: Provide in-depth analysis of financial results to senior management to aid in business decision making. Support the Manager of FP&A with various reporting and projects as needed. Provide insight into the entity financial results to Starline. Utilize various tools to provide the financial results and the analysis
Essential Functions
Assist in financial reporting & other financial analysis monthly for:Internal financial reporting requirementBPC/Group reporting requirementsLNCA reporting requirementsDepartmental/Cost Center budget/forecast analysisSupport the annual Budget processAssist in the development of the quarterly forecasting processPartner with Departmental/Cost Center leaders to review actual results, compare to budget/forecast and summarize variances for management reportingLiaison between finance and other departments on various projects and reporting requirementsValidate financial related information from other departments as requested Lead special projects to analyze profitability and growth opportunitiesDevelop financial models utilizing various reporting tools as neededRespond to various ad hoc requests for data and financial informationIdentify opportunities for process and reporting improvements and implement as appropriatePlanful administration backup and report writingOther duties as assigned by management QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize, and manage a diversified workload. Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Exceptional computer skills required. Proficient in all MSFT Office related software. Experience and understanding of hierarchies, data structure and data management. Experience with various tools used for reporting purposes (PowerBI reporting, BPC, Planful)Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener and be able to develop solutions for reporting requirements across various departments in the organization. Problem solving skills are important.Must have solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business. Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actionsUnderstand all aspects of the financial statements and the way activity flows between the statements. Detail oriented and be able to investigate and review data to identify discrepanciesAble to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, clients, public groups, and/or boards of directors Understand foreign exchange and impact to financial statementsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent years of experience5-8 years’ relevant experience; International experience a plusWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements
