Job Description

Finance Analyst supports financial planning and analysis processes and requirements across businesses supported, such as: sales analysis, expense management, profitability analysis, and others. The Finance Analyst interacts with all AA business areas.

Responsibilities:

Assists with the month end close and financial reporting activities including monthly business/budget reviews, LBEs and preparation of related review packages with variance analysis/commentary on expenses, headcount and capital.Assists with variance analysis and commentary for planning cycles and management reporting under direct guidance of Manager.Monthly meetings with business owners to review actuals and forecast expenses. Partners with business and proposes solutions to achieve budget within guidelines and to operate within approved budget.Supports Accounting Shared Service monthly close and financial reporting processes by reviewing results for completeness and providing variance commentary, which may include P&L, headcount and balance sheet components.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.  Minimum 3+ years of progressive and related experience.Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skillsStrong communication skills (verbal and written), with all levels of management and including the ability to listen well and to influence others that do not report directly.Proficient Excel skills.Knowledge of SAP.
