Work location: This role requires in-office presence 4 days a week at our Dallas, TX   

Venue Support Center, supporting our venues during standard business hours.

As a Financial Reporting Senior Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in reviewing consolidated financial statements and ensuring SEC reporting compliance. You’ll supervise and mentor a talented team of accountants, partner closely with the Director of Financial Reporting, and collaborate across departments to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement. 

This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives on leading high-impact projects while building relationships across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

Review monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidated financial statements, including statements of cash flows 

Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards 

Lead and coordinate Topgolf’s reporting requirements for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) in partnership with Callaway’s SEC reporting team 

Oversee and mentor a team of Financial Reporting Accountants 

Participate in the annual audit process with external auditors 

Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls within financial reporting 

Support continuous improvement projects, including system enhancements (e.g., OneStream) 

Prepare and present monthly variance analyses to senior leadership, including the CAO and CFO 

Assist with same-venue sales calculations and other key metrics 

What You Bring 

CPA license required 

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred) 

Supervisory experience leading high-performing accounting/reporting teams 

Experience with SEC registrants is required 

Industry experience in Restaurant, Retail, or Media preferred (but not required)

SEC reporting acumen with familiarity in external filing requirements and processes 

Analytical proficiency to leverage data-driven insights for leadership decision-making 

GAAP expertise with the ability to research and apply technical accounting guidance 

Organizational excellence to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously 

Information monitoring to implement strong processes for accurate reporting and tracking 

Technical savvy with advanced Excel and proficiency with multiple financial systems 

Leadership and emotional intelligence to build trust, motivate teams, and foster collaboration
