Job Description:
• Plans and prepares foods, ensuring
• products are cooked correctly.
• Maintains consistency in food quality
• standards.
• Tastes food within safety and sanitation
• guidelines to ensure quality and
• consistency.
• Applies proper use of recipes and
• procedures.
• Rotates all products, labeling, dating and
• covering all food in kitchen.
• Uses preventative maintenance and
• follows safety instructions with kitchen
• equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized
• workstation.
• Ensures compliance with all food safety
• and health codes and regulations.
• Monitors food loss and spoilage, recording
• as required and striving to minimize going
• forward.
• Fulfills food requests in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED
• Should have 7+ years’ experience in a related field
• Strong knowledge of standard Food Services methods and practices; must have previous experience in the Food Service Industry
• Excellent customer service skills, especially when working at the counter / serving customers.
• ServSafe certification a plus
• Frequently required to walk, stoop, reach, handle, taste, smell and stand on feet for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to twenty pounds occasionally or up to ten pounds frequently.
