Job Description A Property & Casualty insurance client is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join their team on a hybrid basis in San Francisco, CA. This is open because the team is working on delivering new technical features for a unique cybersecurity SaaS solution designed for small business customers and individuals. The Sr Front-End Developer will spend about 60% of their time on programming and implementing front-end UI components using TypeScript and React Framework. They will need to implement RESTful API endpoints using TypeScript and NodeJS, participate in peer code reviews, collaborate with developers to build reusable code, and implement software security requirements. 20% of their time will be spent on software design, including designing API endpoints, defining schemas, and generation documentation. They will also need to design reusable and scalable React components for front-end UI, and will work closely with the team to scope engineering requirements and timelines for features. They will be responsible for making software design decisions and updating the customers while adhering to best practices. The remaining 20% of their time will be spent testing and maintaining the software ensuring the delivery of well-tested code. They will need to write unit tests for the RESTful APIs and front-end components, fix bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities in the software. This resource may need to occasionally be on-call in order to resolve customer issues and address server alerts as needed.
