What You Will Do:

The Cloud Applications Full-Stack AWS Developer will work closely with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and technical/ functional leads across Guidehouse digital teams and market segments to support client projects and provide solutions for growth efforts and capabilities build-out.Serve as a key member of the cloud team to support technical challenges/demos, building innovative solution prototypes using cloud architectures and software technologies.Solutions architecture and hands-on engineering/full-stack development of scalable and secure distributed systems using modern software technologies and programming, Cloud Native and microservices architecture, containerization, and API-First design patterns.Work collaboratively with user experience designers, platform engineers, product owners, solution architects, and business analysts, the Cloud Applications Full Stack Developer will design, build, test, and deploy high-value, operationally resilient software products on the AWS cloud platform that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements.Support repeatable cloud migrations including rehost (lift & shift), re-platform, and re-architect/re-factor on-premises systems/applications and datasets into a mix of multi and hybrid cloud platforms.

What You Will Need:
 

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holderBachelor's degree is required or a Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Minimum of SIX (6) years of prior relevant experience in full-stack application developmentMinimum of THREE (3) years of experience with cloud applications development to build /modernize applications and datasets into AWS cloudProven ability to work autonomously and collaborate, mentor, help, and support other team members, as needed to solve complex technical problems.Proven ability to develop software product and solution prototypes and use prototypes to validate technical solution strategies and communicate and explain the pros and cons of complex design alternatives.An in-depth understanding of the Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles experience. Must be an experienced Agile practitioner with proven ability to plan and implement software products with agility.Experience and proficiency in implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products and solutions such as VueJS, JavaScript, Python, DjangoFamiliarity with the AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM) and proven design patterns, like Model-View-Controller, is required, as is the ability to design and build cloud-based software products that conform with the AWS Well-Architected Framework design principles.Proficiency in delivering cloud-based software products using contemporary CI/CD pipeline tooling and ability to continuously collaborate with development, operations, and security (DevSecOps) team members to deliver secure and operationally resilient software products and solutions.This is a hands-on cloud software developer/engineering position and requires the ability to proficiently and predictably build and deploy custom applications in the AWS cloud.Proven ability to design, build, test, and deploy software products and solutions on the AWS cloud platform.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle customer requirements and engineer solutions.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Certification: AWS Certified Developer – Amazon Web Services, Flask, Docker, EKS/Kubernetes, AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Elasticsearch, Caching frameworks, Redis, Memcached, the Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for Postgres, and/or the MongoDB NoSQL database service.Certification: AWS Certification Solutions Architect - Amazon Web ServicesSolutions architecture support for technical volumes of proposals and white papers for RFPs/RFIs and thought leadership initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
