Sr Generalist, Human Resources

SUMMARY

A successful candidate will provide comprehensive Human Resources support to business units in all areas of HR including employee relations, recruiting and on-boarding, benefit administration and coordination of new hires for the Miami location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issuesLead new hire orientationRecruiter for salaried positionsInvestigate and resolve employee complaints and grievancesConduct exit interviews and provide feedback to managementManage employee discipline and performance improvement processesEnsure consistent execution of performance management and disciplinary actionsPartner with HR and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement initiativesAiding communication between management and employees and resolving issuesLead employee round table discussions

Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

· High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

· Extremely strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)

· Excellent judgment in a range of situations, maturity and trustworthiness

· Strong employee relations experience

· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

· Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four year college or university; five or more years of related experience and/or training.

PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certification required.
