Join us as a Senior Director Global Medical Lead for Oncology and play a pivotal role in shaping the medical strategy for our early pipeline assets, including biomarker initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of healthcare by driving innovative solutions that enhance patient outcomes and contribute to our business growth.

 

Your role: In this role you will drive the medical strategy for early pipeline assets (including Biomarker strategy), build the clinical and patient value proposition and identify associated evidence generation requirements. You may also contribute to Business Development decision making for potential asset acquisitions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Global Medical planning for an early indication / asset

Lead development of early pipeline asset(s) / indication(s) Medical plan, with a clear narrative from strategic imperatives to Medical Priorities to Medical tacticsLead biomarker medical strategy for early pipeline asset(s)Evaluate the current clinical and therapeutic landscape from a global perspective to provide insight and expertise that informs situational analysis for Multiple assets and indication(s) Medical planDrive GMT agenda

Evidence generation

Lead Medical input to development of evidence generation strategy as applicableInput to sponsored studies, analyses, and observational studies to address identified evidence gapsPropose and monitor proposed early access and compassionate use programs if applicable

Scientific engagement and insights

Lead the development and execution of customized engagement plans, leveraging Medical Communications content as applicable and in line with defined medical strategyLead development of scientific narrative and knowledge journey framework for the asset/ indication with support from Medical Communications LeadEngage with tier 1 KTLs and DTLsLead Clinical Development-focused advisory boards with Clinical Development LeadReview and communicate insights on disease and treatment paradigm in support of Clinical Development from stakeholder engagementPropose and facilitate Medical Affairs advisory board meetings

Business Development

As required, provide Medical input to BD opportunity assessment in terms of asset value proposition, healthcare gaps and opportunities and evidence requirements for successful clinical uptakeNetwork and collaborate externally to identify and secure new asset acquisition opportunities

Who you are

Mandatory Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant field (MD, PhD, or equivalent).Proven experience in Medical Affairs, particularly in early pipeline asset strategy and BiomarkersStrong understanding of clinical development and regulatory requirements8+ years relevant experience, with 5+ years’ experience in oncology required

Preferred qualifications

5+ years’ experience in senior leadership roles in Medical Affairs preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
