As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will:
Test Design and Implementation: Work with design engineers and manufacturing teams to develop and document tests for new products.Development and Debugging: Create and debug custom programming for in-line production PCBAs.Test Automation: Develop and implement software to automate testing processes for products and instruments.Innovation: Identify and apply efficient testing strategies to minimize test time and enhance coverage.Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance to junior engineers and support test technicians with your expertise.Main Duties:Create PCBA and end-of-line test plans.Design mechanical and electrical test fixtures.Set up Windows-based test platforms and PC hardware.Maintain and enhance existing test fixtures and software.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware test issues.Train factory workers on testing and debugging procedures.Compile and submit progress reports.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer Science.Experience: Over 5 years in a test engineering role, focusing on designing and implementing production tests for advanced electronics.Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (C#, LabView, C++, .NET, Python), and experience with JTAG boundary-scan testing, mixed signal circuit design, and communication protocols (serial, I2C, SPI, Ethernet).Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of audio quality signal test methods and audio network protocols (AVB).Strong understanding of signal quality testing (signal-to-noise ratio, frequency response, harmonic distortion).How to Apply:If you meet the qualifications and are interested, please submit your application along with a current resume. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00
