Sr HR Generalist

Main Responsibilities

Core/Operation

Maintain all employee documentation and files as dictated by governing agencies and our affirmative action plan.  This includes new hires, transfers, promotions, terms and conducting the I-9 verification. Hosts new hire orientation and collaborates with other Trainers in the company. Manage and track employee disciplinary action with the HR ManagerCoach, counsel and guide managers before executing employee disciplinary actions with support from HR ManagerConduct exit interviews for assigned client groups, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement with support from HR Manager.Monitor alongside the HR Manager, the annual performance cycle in SAP SuccessFactors, communicate and train teams to ensure the processes are done in a timely manner, i.e. objective setting, mid and end of year performance reviews, annual salary review, individual development plans, etc. This includes virtual training to our Latam subsidiaries and if possible, in Spanish.         This also includes the ability to train employees during shift changes or in different time zones, thus off-hours.  Track employee leaves of absences and/or other claims with HR Manager and Benefits/Worker’s compensation leadsThis role will handle majority of the HR data and KPI’s requested from global.        Intermediate Excel is preferred for data tracking, analysis, charting for presentations.  You will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and driving employee engagement and development initiativesPartner with talent acquisition team to attract and select top talent for the organizationMaintain organization charts.Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and HR services performed.Participate and lead projects within HR and in collaboration with other teams/departments to support business objectivesOther duties as assigned and deemed necessary

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. PHR or SHRM certification preferred.4+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisitionPreference to bilingual candidates that can read, write and train in Spanish. Strong knowledge of HR policies, laws and regulations. Experience in managing employee relations, including investigations and conflict resolutionIntermediate Excel level preferred as tracking of data, data analysis and data charting/presentation is required within this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively, domestically and globallyStrong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailProven track record in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive work cultureExperience in performance management processes, including goal setting and development plans, and able to host training on various topics and build PowerPoint presentations.  Knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and best practicesProven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with willingness to further develop HR and business skillsProven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to uphold standards of complete discretion and confidentialityCandidate must be willing to work on-site up to 5 days per week and be on-call with the HR Manager on the weekends for any emergency topics.Candidate must also be able to flex his/her schedule to provide training during different shift changes, which can be off-hours.
